Welcome to Maiki’s web!
My ID card says that I’m Jordi Rovira (Barcelona, 1972) but Maiki is my alias from the school days… I’m living between Barcelona and Donostia and recording my music at home, playing most of the instruments myself.
I’ve recorded some albums and a bunch of remixes in several projects such as Maiki(my electronic-egotist-anarchic side), Hutts (my first band of crepuscular-music with mates Jordi Tamayo, Christophe Dubois, Frederic Perers and Javier Rivas), Niu (my last band of electro-songs with the usual suspects Dubois, Tamayo, Perers) and a dozen more alias (Melopea, Cage, Longhetti, Karamazovs, El coleccionista, Hellboy, Rolex…). I’m the Secta Records founder and, lately, I’ve been djing with my friend Riki Kuzu: we call us The Jalfrezi Brothers.
